Jill was born and raised in San Luis Obispo, as her father was the Ag teacher at Morro Bay High School for 30 years. After meeting her husband at Cal Poly, soon after marrying, they raised their 4 children in the Seattle area. After divorcing, Jill moved back to SLO where she immersed herself in the local music community, volunteering at Live Oak, Jade Fest, and Whale Rock, as well as other performing arts events, including Festival Mozaic. She spends her free time making beaded jewelry, hiking, and of course attending musical events, most recently at the New Orleans Jazz Fest.
