John Novacek & Piano in the Plaza

October is Arts & Humanities Month, and the City of San Luis Obispo is highlighting the abundance of arts and culture SLO has to offer through a new program called ARTober.
Part of ARTober is a special activation in Mission Plaza called Piano in the Plaza! Mission Plaza in downtown SLO will host an upright piano painted by local artist Missy Reitner-Cameron. Community members are invited to sit and play the piano anytime, and professional pianists have been invited to play intermittently throughout October.
In partnership with the City of San Luis Obispo and the Chamber of Commerce, Festival Mozaic is proud to present a free performance by John Novacek on the beautifully-painted piano in Mission Plaza on Monday, October 23 at 12:00 PM. The performance will last just under one hour.
