Austin Cernosek

Austin Cernosek is the Principal Percussionist of the Eugene Symphony and a freelance musician/educator in Los Angeles. He has performed with Orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, New World Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, and Fresno Philharmonic. Austin’s summer activities include fellowships with the Music Academy of the West, Tanglewood Music Center, and Aspen Music Festival. He marched 3 summers of Drum Corps with the Santa Clara Vanguard and was a bronze medalist for the 2022 Modern Snare Drum Competition. Austin Studied at the University of Southern California, New England Conservatory, and the University of North Texas.
