Anne-Marie Wnek

Anne-Marie Wnek recently earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Eastman School of Music, studying under Robin Scott. While there, she was also a recipient of the Arts Leadership Certificate and the Performer’s Certificate.

Anne-Marie’s musical journey began at age three with Rebecca Henry at the Peabody Preparatory, and she has since established herself as a standout performer, winning numerous competitions including the Colorado College Summer Festival Concerto Competition, Peabody Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, and National Philharmonic Bach Competition. She made her orchestral debut at age nine with the Peabody Preparatory Young Artists Orchestra and has since performed as a soloist with ensembles such as the Peabody Youth Orchestra, Landon Symphonette, and Colorado College Summer Festival Orchestra.

Anne-Marie has appeared in masterclasses with such teachers as Midori, Donald Weilerstein, and Ida Kavafian and has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Her piano trio at Eastman has also received recognition and been awarded Honors in Chamber Music multiple times.

Most recently, Anne-Marie won a position with the Syracuse Orchestra and earned a substitute role with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. She has attended renowned summer festivals including the Aspen Music Festival, Le Domaine Forget, and Vivace! Matera International Music Festival. Beyond the violin, she has a background in piano, ballet, and chorus, enriching her musical approach.
