Hannah Nicholas
Viola
Hannah Nicholas is the principal violist of the Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra. She has appeared on series including Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Network for New Music, and Lincoln Center Atrium 360, and toured with the East Coast Chamber Orchestra. She was a featured artist with the O, Miami Poetry Festival for three years. Hannah currently heads her own series, "Hannah Rose Presents,” featuring soloists and musicians from the Philadelphia Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. She enjoys writing music and has taught songwriting at the University of Pennsylvania. Hannah is on the faculty of the Philadelphia International Music Festival and teaches viola at Swarthmore College.
